These were some shots that I took for my first Macro assignment. I like the shots overall but I wish that I had given them each more depth of field. They were shot with a 105 mm lens with a ratio of 1:1.

Erin, really like the outcome of your first macro pics! You did a really good job on the flame photo and I love how the candle wick is in focus!
I love the first shot, I like how you can see in to the flame, something you dont normally get to analyze.
